Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Shampoo Set.

Firstly I'd like to say... I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
A few weeks ago, the website Influenster  invited me to try a new product without knowing what brand it was from. I received a box containing deluxe samples of shampoo, conditioner & serum. They wanted us to try the products and guess what brand the products were from and sure enough it was from Garnier. I had absolutely so idea what brand it was since I rarely use drug-store shampoo's.
I received 4 full size products:

Fortifying Shampoo

Fortifying Conditioner

Spilt-end serum

My thoughts

My favourite out of the four products is the reconstructing butter. I only applied it on the ends of my hair and left it on for about 5 mins. Once I rinsed it off, right away I could feel how soft my hair became. I also noticed once I applied the serum and blow-dried my hair, my hair got completely straight without doing a blow-out or straightener. I don't know if that's supposed to happen but I was happy! Even after a day later, I felt that it was easier to comb through my hair and style again. The conditioner is good but not amazing, feels like most drug store conditioners.
My thoughts have changed about the shampoo after using it for some time. I noticed my scalp getting dry and flaky. I usually use sulfate-free shampoo's and I'm guessing the shampoo has the ingredient and made my scalp dry out. Plus the awful dry/cold weather we are having isn't helping either. After noticing the problem, I applied coconut oil into my hair overnight before shampooing my hair again and the flakes slowly have been disappearing.
In my opinion...the set is okay. I did some research on it's prices in a few drug-stores and it is in the $6-7 range for each which isn't bad.
Would I repurchase the shampoo? For myself, no. However I would recommended it for people with who don't deal with scalp issues.  I will definitely repurchase the butter mask & serum!

So I hope this helped you in any way and thank you for taking the time to read  and as always have a great day :)
